Pilot Medicals

Aviation medical appointments are available Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 2:30pm.

Our reception and nurse team are fully trained in advising you of the tests that you will need to have as part of your application to hold a medical certificate to fly.

Unfortunately none of the authorities in different countries are uniform in their requirements so it is always advisable to discuss what is necessary for your medical application prior to your appointment.

FEES: The base fee we charge for a pilot medical examination is $320.

Additional tests such as a resting ECG ($75), audio ($95), plain spirometry ($95), or pre & post spirometry ($105) are extra. All prices include GST.

Please note that these fees do not include the processing fees that each aviation authority may charge, or costs of any further specialist testing.

If you complete more than one medical examination on the day, we will apply a $50 discount for each subsequent medical.

New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
